I make B2B products that people don't hate using.
She/Her
I'm Precious, a Product Designer who specialises in making complex systems feel simple. Most of my work sits in B2B portals, admin backends, accessibility tools; the kinds of products where the stakes are high and the users aren't always tech-savvy. That last part matters to me. Designing for every level of digital literacy isn't a constraint I work around; it's usually where the most interesting problems are.
I don't treat accessibility as a feature to bolt on at the end, It's where I start. After over two years at Sociability building tools used by companies like Meta, Arup, Fosters + Partners, Benugo, Searcys, Collicci and so on, thinking in WCAG has become as natural to me as thinking in grids.
Outside of work
Butterfly/Bee?
I recently started playing lawn tennis and I'm happily letting it consume me. I also collect LEGO - the curated kind: Hokusai, orchids, a bouquet of twenty flowers which probably says more about how I design than anything on my CV.
I crochet, mostly hats, though I did once make a blanket large enough to question my life choices.
Right now, I'm nursing my last surviving houseplant with the kind of attention I wish I could bill for.
